We met Bob at the Nymboida RFS Recovery Party in Nymboida. He and his wife lost their home in the firestorm, and are now refugees. A talented mechanical engineer, Bob donates his time at the Nymboida Canoe Centre (now converted to a fire evacuation centre and "help hub"), sharpening and repairing the tools used by other refugees and Blazaid volunteers in the post-fire rebuild.
